I typically don’t share the lyrics to my songs in this way, but I’m having especially deep feelings about this one.
I won’t give away what it means to me, because I want you to read it gently, as poetry, and react to your own feelings. Of course, I’ll give my perspective in the songwriters’ spaces, but for now just take a deep breath and quietly read the words.
